8 newspapers hot off the press in November
Newspapers aren't just for sharing information – they're great for creating atmosphere, too. Clementine’s broadsheets brought a Sunday...

Most days we’ve got our hands full printing your newspapers and rarely get to dig into the products inside them. That’s why we love making our gift guide – it's a chance to ooooh and aaaah over all the brilliant things our customers make and sell.
Small Business Saturday is coming up on 6 December, so we're highlighting gift ideas from independent brands that print with us. From purposely mismatched slippers to monthly surprise magazines, here are 7 picks from small creative businesses that also happen to make fantastic newspapers.

Cosy cushion from Sophie Home
It's no secret that we love Sophie Home – founder Sophie Dias was the face of our first billboard campaign earlier this year. She brought along one of her gorgeous 100% cotton cushions for the photoshoot and it's been on our wish list ever since!
Sophie Home is a London-based brand creating colourful cotton knit cushions, blankets and toys. They've used our mini newspapers for regular catalogues since 2023.

Cheerful mug from Heath Ceramics
Edith Heath, founder of Heath Ceramics, designed the low-handled Studio Mug in the 1940s. This limited-edition interpretation in a glossy 'yuzu' glaze is part of the Heath + Herman Miller Collection.
Heath Ceramics has been making timeless, handcrafted pottery in California since 1948. They used our tabloid newspapers for a zine celebrating the brand's heritage.

Mismatched slippers from This Must Be The Place
Just imagine the joy a pair of fleece-lined mismatched slippers from This Must Be The Place would bring! Who could be grumpy with these on their feet?
This Must Be The Place is a lifestyle shop in Glasgow, run by photographer and stylist Clare Nicolson. She printed a mini newspaper to celebrate the shop's first birthday this summer.

Magazine subscription from Stack
Christmas comes once a year, but with an annual subscription to Stack a surprise magazine comes once a month. Send someone a gift that keeps giving and helps keep intelligent, independent print alive at the same time.
Stack Magazines has delivered a different magazine every month since 2008. It's a brilliant online mag shop, too. Founder Steve Watson published his essay on the state of print on our mini newspapers.

Peepers stool from Odd Universe
We've had our eyes on the Peepers stool from Odd Universe since we spotted it at London Design Festival this summer. It's formed from a single flat 100% recyclable aluminium disk, designed to minimise material waste. (The catch is there's a waitlist, but it is just too good not to include!)
Odd Universe is a design studio working across furniture, fashion, objects and spaces. They collaborated with writers and artists on a tabloid newspaper as part of an installation during London Design Festival.

Silk eye mask from Clementine
We could all do with a bit more sleep – and this luxurious silk eye mask from Clementine Sleepwear might just be the motivation someone needs to get into bed early. It's bigger than a standard eye mask and softer than most, too. We're partial to this sunny yellow shade.
Clementine Sleepwear is designed in Los Angeles and NYC and made using 100% mulberry silk. They used our broadsheet newspaper for a photoshoot, then shared copies at their first ever press event.

Crispy shallots from Onion Kid
Designer Leo Budirahardjo founded Onion Kid to share the flavour he grew up with in Indonesia. Sourced from Sumenep in East Java, the shallots he uses have a distinctive elongated shape and light golden colour. They come in a handy crispy shallot six-pack – stocking stuffers for all!
Onion Kid makes crispy shallots hand-mixed in small batches. They use our tabloid newspapers at pop-ups, markets and trade shows to share a taste of their story.
