How US tariffs will affect your order

Update 10 March 2026: We're continuing to ship all US orders DDP and we're pleased to say that most deliveries have gone through customs without issues. Orders typically arrive within 2 to 8 working days – you can check estimates using our delivery calculator.

As of 29 August 2025, all shipments from the UK to the US are subject to a 10% import duty. Here’s what this means for your order:

What's changing?

For now, nothing is changing. Since April 2025, when new tariffs were introduced, we’ve already been covering these extra costs in our prices. All orders to the US are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) – this means you won’t see unexpected bills for duties or taxes when your newspapers arrive. We’ll keep doing this for as long as we can.

Delivery times

To avoid any delays, it's important that the name of the person you’re sending to exactly matches the name used on their EIN or TIN

DHL may contact you to confirm these details, so it’s also important that the email on your Newspaper Club account and the phone number on your delivery address are up to date.
