Chicago-based Jalen Taylor has some huge accomplishments to share! Following a recent graduation for a Master's degree from Loyola University Chicago's Institute of Pastoral Studies, Jalen opted to print a newspaper to share her recent achievements and promote work with colleagues and clients. "In our digital age, printed newspapers remain one of the few tangible forms of media, and I love that about them!" says Jalen.

Working with Beetlejuus Studios on the design, The Nursery Times came to life using our vintage Canva template. Our digital broadsheet size was perfect for the newspaper to be transformed into a wallpaper background for Jalen's photoshoot.

Wedding newspaper template

For their fun-filled winter wedding in Philadelphia, Elke and Wesley opted to use our wedding template printed on our digital tabloids to run guests through the need-to-know details of their big day.

"Designing the newspaper using the Canva wedding template was so easy and fun," says bride Elke. "It was a nice break from all the other tedious wedding planning tasks that we had to do!".

The 4-page print featured the running order of the day, an introduction to the wedding party and fun icebreakers for their guests to get to know each other at the reception. And it was a hit! "Our guests loved it, and we've saved a few so that we can frame it and hang it up in our home!".

Mini magazine template

Cheshire-based Kelsall Primary and Nursery School is making learning fun! Their project, "Can We Save the Tiger?" was created using our digital minis to celebrate the students' learning and progress in their final year as a Year 6 class. Our mini magazine Canva template was used to showcase images of the students' works.

The theme of tigers was integrated into their English, Science, Geography and Art studies, with students completing various tasks across the curriculum. An exciting field trip to Chester Zoo allowed the students to closely observe and monitor the behaviour of the tigers.

At the end of the project, the class planned, prepared, and delivered a presentation to the rest of the school, sharing the knowledge they had gained about tigers. They also organised a non-uniform day to raise awareness about the threats tigers face in the wild. The event raised £200, which was donated to Chester Zoo to adopt and support a tiger!

Happy 40th Stuart! He recently celebrated with friends and family at a 40th birthday party, with a digital tabloid to celebrate.

The family used our celebration newspaper template to design a print packed with nostalgic family photographs, stories from his loved ones and an ode to his various nicknames!
