This summer was packed with major sporting events from the European Championship to Wimbledon and the Olympic Games. Amidst the crowds and excitement, newspapers emerged as the MVP for brands looking to connect more intimately with their audiences.
Below, see how Sipsmith Gin, Wise and Classic Football Shirts used print to stand out from the noise of the season and score big with fans.

Money transfer company Wise played coach to journalists with this guide for navigating Paris during the Olympic Games. The mini newspaper featured tips for budgeting, avoiding tourist crowds and getting around the city.

"We were targeting journalists and wanted something that could land on their desk and feel like a travel guide," says Wise's creative lead Charlie De Grussa. "The speed of printing and delivery was exceptional!"

Classic Football Shirts kicked off the European Championship with a publication all about iconic football kits. The traditional tabloid looks back at Scotland’s tartan home shirt from Euro ‘96 and the bold, geometric design of the Dutch shirt from the 1988 final.
There’s also a deep dive into the history of long-sleeved shirts at the Euros and the evolution of Euro patches. A top-notch tribute to some of football’s most memorable sartorial statements.
