About this newspaper

This tabloid-style newspaper includes bilingual essays by writers from a variety of disciplines each reflecting on rejas through their individual fields of expertise. It was made and presented within The Green Lantern Press' Spring 2017 exhibition, GRAFT — an interactive installation for which the artist Edra Soto installed life-size Puerto Rican style bus stop benches inside of the Sector 2337 gallery with the island’s traditional rejas on the exterior storefront.

Tagged with edra, soto, graft, rejas, colonial, architecture, installation, art, puerto, rico, and chicago.
