About this newspaper

The December 2016 issue of Prefab Post concentrates on post-war prefabs in Birmingham from the Grade II listed prefabs in Wake Green Road hoping for a bright reimagined future to fond memories of prefabs that are long demolished. The Prefab Post is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the Prefab Museum project The Moving Prefab Museum and Archive. The Moving Prefab travels across the UK, documenting and recording prefabs and their occupants, collecting memories, stories and photos.

Tagged with prefab, prefabs, postwar, archive, memories, birmingham, conservation, and heritage.

About The Prefab Museum

The Prefab Museum started life in a 1946 post-war prefab in Catford, London, in 2014. Welcome to the prefabulous world of post-war prefabs! The Prefab Post is our quarterly newsletter, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
