Shopping in St. Helens Town Centre has altered significantly, particularly in recent years. Liverpool now attracts 22% of St. Helens residents to its shopping areas and centres, whilst Wigan and Warrington both attract just over 10% each. These images do not intend to highlight the negative aspects of the experience of shopping in St. Helens, however they do intend to allow individuals to contemplate the current position of the town and other, similar town centres and what they now have to offer
