Old sketchbooks and experiments with fax machines form the basis of this journal. It uses impression and expression to create brooding type-scapes that mirror a cacophony of noise; the visual and audio onslaught of modern life. The barrage of half-heard conversations, fragments of thoughts and sounds, emotions and overlapping communications combine in a visual flux conjured from and inspired by the milieu. An on-going project, this is the first 'pause' in a continuous process of change.
