Family Likeness

by Rebecca Penmore

Many people are told time and time again that they look exactly like their mother/sister/aunty/grandmother. This photographic study examines the family likeness between female members of different families.

Through the recreation of existing family photographs, a visual comparison has been created for the subjects and the viewer. The photographs have acted as a prompt for wider discussion about family relationships, inherited features and family identity.
